The Dutch school de Leesplank provides education in the Dutch Language and Culture for Dutch-speaking children aged 4 to 12 years. This corresponds to group 1 to group 8 in the Netherlands. The school is for children of expats and for children of Dutch and Flemish parents who have settled in Australia. Just like with a 'real' school, we have a (mobile) library, we use up-to-date Dutch spelling, language and Grammar methods, we work with appealing themes and we go big on King's Day and with Sinterklaas!​ ​ Children can enroll all year round.
